This health conscious retreat is unique in that it gives you two experienced teachers who have been teaching and living all around the world, including here in Thailand, so they can therefore give you that extra one-on-one attention to help you along your own personal Yoga and self-growth journey, and also show you around their beautiful home of Pai.

Where will I stay?
You will be staying within the peace and tranquility of a unique boutique resort, situated amongst beautiful rice fields with the stunning hill mountains of North Thailand as your dramatic backdrop. Only a short few minutes drive away from Pai Walking Street and Night Market when you fancy a wander, or you can choose to simply relax in the serenity of the beautiful grounds of the resort and retreat yourself.

This retreat is like no other; it is all about you having time for developing your yoga practise and work on self-growth and deepen the understanding of the mind and body.
Starting each day with a Vinyasa Yoga class where we will engage a more conscious breath to encourage the calming of the mind and to gain an awareness of a mindful practice, whilst building strength and increasing flexibility within the body. These classes will also generate the appropriate and needed energy for the day. The Vinyasa style provides a flow of sequences to help the body detox as we move in and out of each asana (posture) with a mix of pranayama and meditations to help stay present with the mind and breath.
Our evening classes will be Hatha, a little slower and gentler. The Hatha Yoga class brings in more body awareness and deepens the knowledge and stamina of the asanas yet providing a mindful and meditative state.
All classes are suitable for beginners as well as for more seasoned practitioners to either help get you started on your Yoga and Meditation journey or to help deepen your current practice. Classes will be around 75 – 90 minutes in duration.
During your stay we will provide workshops and meditation sessions to further progress your self-growth journey. The workshops will include an insight on nutrition covering the basic knowledge for a healthy diet, including how to create a personal dietary structure to fit one’s individual needs. The mindset and lifestyle workshop deals with topics such as how a steady life rhythm influences the different hormones and overall health, and how to create particular thought patterns to change positively the quality of one’s life.
Meditation sessions will be about learning and focusing on the chakras (our internal energy points) to help balance the body, mind and soul connection for overall well-being. When the chakras are blocked, it builds up our internal energy which causes detrimental effects in our health. When the chakras are in balance, the flow of energy moves effortlessly within.
The rest of the day will include time off where you can enjoy the scenery, rest, or take the opportunity to have one-on-one appointments with Nisha and/or Nuno. More information on these extra private sessions can be found below.

Nisha is a qualified Reiki Level 2 Therapist and is offering you as her guest a complimentary 20 minute healing session should you wish to give it a try. Reiki is a natural healing technique done through energy channelling by means of gentle touch, to activate the natural healing process of the patient’s body and restore both physical and emotional well-being. Reiki energy is all positive energy therefore receiving these positive vibes also helps let go of any negative thoughts and feelings that may be holding you back; a treatment that is all natural and therefore truly beneficial for all.
Should you wish to have further Reiki treatments during your stay, you can book a full 1 hour session directly with Nisha.
INDIVIDUAL MIND FITNESS COACHING SESSIONS
Nuno is a qualified Personal Trainer and Life Coach. You can choose to book personal fitness and mind coaching sessions with Nuno whilst on the retreat during your free time,
or sign up for Nuno’s online coaching program which can be done anytime, anywhere.
The program includes:
MIND: Mind Coaching will help you with emotional and/or mental patterns and struggles.
It will help you analyse your current lifestyle (personal and/or business) and give you more insight on time management, so that you can improve your current habits to ultimately perform better in your life.
MOVEMENT: Physical coaching will help you select your favourite movement disciplines and guide you through an organized training program. You can decide here in how far you want the coaching: Are you sedentary and you want to start moving but are lacking some tools? Do you already have a good base of physical activity but are looking to change its habits or style? Do you want to be a fitness model or bodybuilder? Everything is possible. You will be guided through all of these.
NUTRITION: Nutrition coaching will help with your current lifestyle and nutritional habits. Your dietary patterns will be optimized according to your goals and needs.
EXCURSIONS & ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Pai and its surrounding areas are very pleasing to the eye. We will treat you to an excursion day to take in beautiful viewpoints and monumental sites.

MEET YOUR HOSTS & TEACHERs
HOW WE MET
This connection of two like-minded souls began whilst we both happened to be living in Rishikesh, India. We knew this was a soul connection as we easily formed a great friendship during our few months of living there, bonding over our mutual love of Yoga, travel and chocolate pancakes! Later that same year, The Universe coincidentally brought us separately to North Thailand where we of course met again and had the idea to put together this unique retreat in this most wonderful place. Thankful our soul brother-sister connection was found and we are so happy to be able to offer you this special retreat and share our learnings over the years with you.
As a British-born Indian coming from a traditional Indian family, spirituality, meditation, mantra chanting were already a part of Nisha’s life from a young age. As she came into her own, she started to understand and appreciate each aspect more and integrate them into her daily life. The physical aspect of Yoga found her around 20 years ago to help get her body moving more as well as to build strength, starting off with self-practice at home and then attending regular classes and workshops locally and internationally. After many years of practicing both the mental and physical aspect of Yoga, Nisha took some time out fully for herself and decided to take her practice deeper by embarking on a Yoga Teacher Training where she realised even more that Yoga was always a true part of her and was to remain that way. The Yoga she practiced and the way it made her feel convinced her that she had to continue with her Yoga journey and share with others along the way. Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga are physical styles of Yoga derived from the original form, Hatha Yoga, all of which Nisha loves to practice herself and therefore incorporates them into her teachings with the main focus in her classes being about mindful movement into the asanas (poses) whilst using the breath, as well as taking awareness of how the body feels on the inside. Meditation has naturally always been a part of her practice and therefore included in her teachings where she gives guided meditations through chakra focused and pranayama techniques.
A love for teaching came upon her when she recognised how amazing it was to be able to make others feel good through the practice of Yoga and to teach them what she has learnt and is continually learning. Helping others discover their own Yoga journey is truly rewarding to her. Nisha continues with her journey travelling and living all around the world, practicing and learning with teachers and students alike, taking in all that she learns to then go on and share her passion with her students and those around her.
Nisha started with teaching regular classes in London and then took her teaching abroad instructing at hotels, resorts and Yoga shalas in amazing locations. Hosting her own Yoga Holidays came about from both her main passions – Yoga and travelling. Realising she was discovering so many amazing places in the countries she visited and lived in, it became clear that she had to share what she knew, saw and learnt with others, hence combining the two by offering these unique NishaYoga Holidays. All her Yoga Holidays come with personal knowledge and experience of the locations they are held at as she has either lived there or visited numerous times and so she is lucky enough to be able to call these beautiful places home and therefore share some of the best things about them with you when you join her on a NishaYoga Holiday.
Currently Nisha spends months at a time living and teaching mainly in India, Morocco and Thailand.

Born in Portugal, Nuno has lived in different places and worked with many cultures worldwide. Nuno had his first contact with Yoga when he was only 15 years old and has been practising since then. His professional studies are in theatre and dance and he performed on stage for many years. As an International Certified Yoga Teacher, Personal Trainer and Life Coach, Nuno has been working in the past decade as a personal coach and teaching physical conditioning at a performing arts university in Amsterdam. With personal and professional experience and extensive knowledge in these areas, he shares his passion and helps people develop a more balanced life, finding their own strength and awareness in their mind and body. This in turn works as a vehicle to increase mental and physical resilience that eases to the discovery of one’s own true nature.
Nuno spends a few months each year in India, practising intensively with his teacher Usha Devi. He teaches traditional Hatha Yoga with emphasis on alignment for deepening the understanding of asana on a physical, mental and energetic level.
How to get to Pai, North Thailand
Chiang Mai Airport (CMX) is a major gateway into North Thailand and the main airport to fly into for this retreat. The most popular route in is connecting via Bangkok Airport (BKK), as well as from other smaller serving Thai airports, or you can arrive directly via Singapore, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Myanmar, Laos or South Korea.
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai, we will arrange for a shuttle bus to pick you up from the airport, or if you decide to stay a night or two in Chiang Mai before the start of the retreat, collection will be from your Chiang Mai hotel. The transfer is a 3hr scenic journey north to Pai.

The climate in Pai and North Thailand at this time of year is very tropical with enjoyable warm days around 28°C, with much cooler mornings and evenings. As it is a tropical climate, bursts of heavy rain can occur at anytime. We will provide umbrellas but you may wish to bring your own rain jacket too.
You can pick up local treasures and touristy bits whilst visiting Pai Walking Street during the day or night.
PAI AND BEYOND
North Thailand is full of beautiful scenery so why not extend your stay and spend a couple of days in the buzzing city of Chiang Mai and/or some extra days in Pai travelling around further along this way. For example from Pai, you could visit the tribes of Mae Hong Son whilst taking in the breathtaking views, or take a tour to see the famous Blue and White Temples of Chiang Rai.
The local currency in Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). You can exchange currency at any Thai airport, when in Chiang Mai or in the main town in Pai.
