This Yoga Holiday is unique in that it offers a limited number of places to keep the Yoga group small, to therefore give you a warm and welcoming experience, that extra one-on-one attention to help you along your own personal Yoga journey.
This is your holiday, it’s totally up to you how you wish to spend it. You are free to attend some or all of the classes and activities included on the itinerary. Choose what’s right for you and enjoy your well-deserved break.
Where will I stay?
You will be staying under the palm trees in one of the most welcoming beachside resorts, literally only steps away from beautiful Agonda Beach in South Goa.

The onsite restaurant serves freshly made Indian and International cuisine using local ingredients.
A delicious and plentiful brunch will be served each morning which includes hot and cold drinks.
You will enjoy an appetizing dinner each night (both veg & non-veg options available, x1 drink included), with dinner alongside live music on one night of your stay, as well as a movie night. You can enjoy your meals either sat together as part of the Yoga group or on your own if you prefer; there’s no pressure, it’s your holiday so you choose how you wish to enjoy it.
There is also an onsite bar serving alcohol – beer, spirits, wine and cocktails, as well as soft drinks and fresh juices.
*Any additional food and drinks ordered beyond the included brunch and dinner service will be added to your room bill payable on check-out. The resort accepts payments in Indian Rupees or via online transfer.
We will also dine at other local restaurants during the week so you can experience more of what Agonda has to offer.

THE MEDITATION & YOGA CLASSES
We will start our day with morning Meditation learning and focusing on the chakras (our internal energy points) to help balance the body, mind and soul connection for overall well-being. When the chakras are blocked, it builds up our internal energy which causes detrimental effects in our health. When the chakras are in balance, the flow of energy moves effortlessly within.
The morning Yoga classes will be Vinyasa flow style with the main focus being on the breath to encourage the calming of the mind and to gain an awareness of a mindful practice, whilst building strength and increasing flexibility within the body. Moving through a flow of sequences will help the body detox as we flow in and out of each asana (pose). Our evening classes will be flowing but slower and gentler ending with a mix of pranayama and meditations to help stay present with the mind and breath. There will also be a workshop style class where we take more time to break down some asanas to help get into them safely and allow you to move deeper within your own personal practice. Each class will be around 75 – 90 minutes in duration.
All classes are suitable for beginners as well as for more seasoned Yogis to either help get you started on your Yoga and Meditation journey or to help deepen your current practice.

ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS
COMPLIMENTARY LONG TAIL BOAT RIDE TO HIDDEN BEACH
Join me on a wonderful long tail boat ride where you may even be lucky enough to spot the playful dolphins of the Arabian Sea as we cruise along to a hidden beach and spend some time exploring and relaxing.
AFTERNOON BEACH EXCURSION WITH SUNSET YOGA CLASS
We will head to a secret cove beach where you can enjoy a drink and snacks (food and drink at additional cost), explore, sunbathe, followed by a beach Yoga class during sunset.
COMPLIMENTARY REIKI TREATMENT
As a qualified Reiki Level 2 Therapist, I am offering you as my guest a complimentary 20 minute healing session should you wish to give it a try. Reiki is a natural healing technique done through energy channelling by means of gentle touch, to activate the natural healing process of the patient’s body and restore both physical and emotional well-being. Reiki energy is all positive energy therefore receiving these positive vibes also helps let go of any negative thoughts and feelings that may be holding you back. A treatment that is all natural and therefore truly beneficial for all. Should you require further Reiki Treatments, you can book a full 1 hour session directly with me.
The following additional activities can be arranged should you wish to fill your days further.

MEET YOUR YOGA TEACHER
As a British-born Indian coming from a traditional Indian family, spirituality, meditation, mantra chanting were already a part of Nisha’s life from a young age. As she came into her own, she started to understand and appreciate each aspect more and integrate them into her daily life. The physical aspect of Yoga found her around 20 years ago to help get her body moving more as well as to build strength, starting off with self-practice at home and then attending regular classes and workshops locally and internationally. After many years of practicing both the mental and physical aspect of Yoga, Nisha took some time out fully for herself and decided to take her practice deeper by embarking on a Yoga Teacher Training where she realised even more that Yoga was always a true part of her and was to remain that way. The Yoga she practiced and the way it made her feel convinced her that she had to continue with her Yoga journey and share with others along the way. Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga are physical styles of Yoga derived from the original form, Hatha Yoga, all of which Nisha loves to practice herself and therefore incorporates them into her teachings with the main focus in her classes being about mindful movement into the asanas (poses) whilst using the breath, as well as taking awareness of how the body feels on the inside. Meditation has naturally always been a part of her practice and therefore included in her teachings where she gives guided meditations through chakra focused and pranayama techniques.
A love for teaching came upon her when she recognised how amazing it was to be able to make others feel good through the practice of Yoga and to teach them what she has learnt and is continually learning. Helping others discover their own Yoga journey is truly rewarding to her. Nisha continues with her journey travelling and living all around the world, practicing and learning with teachers and students alike, taking in all that she learns to then go on and share her passion with her students and those around her.
Nisha started with teaching regular classes in London and then took her teaching abroad instructing at hotels, resorts and Yoga shalas in amazing locations. Hosting her own Yoga Holidays came about from both her main passions – Yoga and travelling. Realising she was discovering so many amazing places in the countries she visited and lived in, it became clear that she had to share what she knew, saw and learnt with others, hence combining the two by offering these unique NishaYoga Holidays. All her Yoga Holidays come with personal knowledge and experience of the locations they are held at as she has either lived there or visited numerous times and so she is lucky enough to be able to call these beautiful places home and therefore share some of the best things about them with you when you join her on a NishaYoga Holiday.
Currently Nisha spends months at a time living and teaching mainly in India, Morocco and Thailand.

Goa Airport (GOI), the closest airport to arrive at for this Yoga Holiday, is well connected with airlines operating direct and connecting flights from all across Europe and globally.

The climate in Goa is tropical with the weather through December to March being the best time of the year to visit with slightly cooler mornings and evenings due to the welcoming sea breeze, and dry warm sunny days. Temperatures average 28°C.
Agonda is a village and beach town that still remains quite unspoilt and somewhat undiscovered, away from the big tourist crowds making it a perfect place for a relaxing Yoga Holiday. It has a beautiful 3km stretch of beach on which you can enjoy daily walks and take in the beauty, peace and tranquility. Also a perfect place to learn to surf as well as advance your skills.
SOUTH GOAN BEACHES
Being based in South Goa you are spoilt with numerous and unique beaches. Simply hop in a Tuk Tuk, taxi, or hire a scooter to go and explore the vast beaches of the South. You really can go on for miles.
Agonda has a long main road full of little shops where you can pick up basic everyday essentials as well as clothes, jewellery, spices and souvenirs, with various beachfront and roadside bars and restaurants also within walking distance. The next beach towns of Palolem and Patnem, and main town Chaudi are busier and offer some more options, all easily reachable by Tuk Tuk, taxi or scooter.
The local currency in India is the Indian Rupee (INR). You can exchange currency at your connecting Indian Airport or at Goa Airport upon arrival. There is one ATM in Agonda village, as well as some currency conversion places if you wish to bring your home currency for exchange, all within walking distance, however it is advisable to exchange some currency at the airport or before departing your country.
