NishaYoga teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa inspired Yoga, a rhythmic style of yoga focusing on the flowing together of traditional yoga poses, connecting breath with movement resulting in an invigorating class which increases strength and flexibility, helps tone the body, improves posture and balance, and also brings calm and relaxation to your mind and body.

About Nisha

One of the reasons for initially practicing Yoga was due to having on-going back problems. Also with a hectic working life, being stuck behind a desk most days, I needed something to help balance my lifestyle and get me moving and also help free my mind from any tension. I started my Yoga journey with Kundalini Yoga mainly for it's calming and meditation benefits to help ease the stresses of everyday life, and through exploring various types of Yoga I found that I resonated also with Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga and so I furthered my learnings. Realising and appreciating each day how amazing both my mind and body felt after each practice, Yoga became a daily ritual. With no more back problems, my body and mind are stronger than ever and I've not looked back since.

Qualified with a 200hr+ Yoga Teacher Training Certification, with further trainings taken with legendary teachers David and Doug Swenson plus many other amazing teachers who I have had the privilege to train with. I furthered my learnings with Meditation and incorporate these into my classes. Also being a qualified Reiki Level 2 Therapist which is complementary to Yoga, I love to share the power of natural healing through energy channelling; a treatment that encourages both emotional and physical healing and is truly beneficial to all. Training and learning never stops for me and is an ongoing journey.

Originally based in London, UK, NishaYoga came about after having realised how amazing it feels to make others feel good through the practice of Yoga and to teach what I have learnt and am continually learning. I love being able to help others begin and continue with their own Yoga journey.

With regular students each week at my London classes over the past years, I have taken my teaching internationally instructing at hotels, resorts and Yoga shalas whilst also organising my own Yoga Holidays in beautiful locations around the world.

Hosting my own Yoga Holidays came about from both my main passions - Yoga and travelling. Realising I was discovering so many amazing places in the countries I visited and lived in, it became clear that I had to share what I knew, saw and learnt with others hence combining the two by offering these unique NishaYoga Holidays. All my Yoga Holidays come with personal knowledge and experience of the locations they are held at as I have either lived there or visited numerous times and so I am lucky enough to be able to call these beautiful places home and therefore share some of the best things about them with you on a NishaYoga Holiday.

"Having just come back from a yoga holiday that Nisha ran, I have nothing but gratitude for Nisha. I cannot express how much I enjoyed it. Going by myself was daunting but Nisha made me feel safe and cared for. No small detail was left behind. Yoga twice a day, even going to the beach to meditate and practice was an amazing experience. Nisha is a fantastic yoga teacher with a beautiful personality. Excursions, food, atmosphere...we had it all. I relaxed straight away knowing I was in great hands. No surprise that I was torn when I had to leave. I will be treating myself to a NishaYoga Holiday once a year whether that's in Morocco, Bali, Spain, Goa or wherever else Nisha holds them. Do try and attend one if you get a chance; you won't be disappointed. Nisha is the most patient teacher I have had (and I've had a few!) Yoga is clearly Nisha's passion and boy is she flexible! Oh and the Reiki is a must! The complimentary session Nisha offered us guests was on another level. I found it incredible and so booked two further Reiki sessions with Nisha whilst there. The difference it has made is phenomenal. There is magic in Nisha's energy. I can't wait to go on another NishaYoga Holiday!"

"I recently went on my first (and definitely not my last!) NishaYoga Holiday. Being a former student of Nisha's yoga classes from my time in London I knew it would not fail my expectations, but I would not have been able to imagine the total bliss I felt throughout the week we were there. All from the place itself, the yoga classes on the rooftop, sunrise & sunset yoga classes on different beaches, my first time (also not my last!) experiencing Reiki healing given by Nisha who has the gift, the local and further away excursions perfectly planned by Nisha and one of the manager's of the Riad - couldn't have wished for anything else, only that the week would have been longer! Anyone who is wanting to and planning for a yoga holiday - go, go, go with NishaYoga if there is a spot open!"
